Bai Jia is a Chinese food producer situated in the Sichuan province of Southwest China. The region is world famous for its unique take on Chinese cuisine. This instant vermicelli from the Bai Jia range uses Fei-Chang flavouring, which is a traditional way of preparing pork intestine and features in many local dishes. It might sound strange to Westerners but it is similar in flavour profile to pork rinds. There is no actual pork intestine in the packets. Instead each packet contains delicious, light vermicelli noodles with an artificial Fei-Chang soup base – a lightly spiced and flavourful dish.

Ingredients: Vermicelli: Sweet Potato Starch (65.08%), Corn Starch (Sulphites), Palm Oil, Thickener (E412), Salt, Acidity Regulator (E330).

Soup Base: Low Erucic Acid Rapeseed Oil, Bean Sauce (Broad Bean, Chilli, Salt, Wheat (Gluten) Flour), Mustard, Chilli (1.7%), Fennel, Salt, Flavour Enhancer (E621, E635), Flavouring (Sulphites).
