How to Use:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  2. Add the desired amount of Chunsi Shandong Noodles.

  3. Cook for approximately 3–4 minutes until the noodles are tender.

  4. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and enhance texture.

  5. Use immediately in your preferred dishes or toss with a bit of oil to prevent sticking if storing for later use.

Recipe 1: Shandong Beef Noodle Soup
Ingredients:

  • Chunsi Shandong Noodles

  • 200g beef brisket, sliced thinly

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch piece of ginger, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce

  • 1 star anise

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • Chopped spring onions and coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.

  2. Add beef slices and cook until browned.

  3. Pour in soy sauces and beef broth, add star anise.

  4. Simmer for 1–2 hours until beef is tender.

  5. Prepare noodles as per the "How to Use" instructions.

  6. Serve noodles in bowls, ladle beef and broth over them, and garnish with spring onions and coriander.

Recipe 2: Cold Sesame Shandong Noodle Salad
Ingredients:

  • Chunsi Shandong Noodles

  • 1 cucumber, julienned

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 2 tablespoons sesame paste or peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional)

  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare noodles as per the "How to Use" instructions and let them cool completely.

  2. In a bowl, mix sesame paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and chili oil to create the dressing.

  3. Toss the cooled noodles with the dressing until well coated.

  4. Add julienned cucumber and carrot to the noodles and mix gently.

  5. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve chilled.
