How To Cook This Dish

  1. In one bowl, mix the sesame oil, orange zest and juice, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to make the sauce.

  2. In another bowl, combine the cornflour, sesame seeds, Chinese five-spice powder, and a pinch of salt.

  3. Run a small knife down the back of each prawn to butter them, which will help the sauce stick better.

  4. Toss the prawns through the cornflour and sesame seed mixture to coat them.

  5. Heat vegetable or sunflower oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat. Add the minced garlic and sizzle for 10 seconds, being careful not to let it brown.
