Happy New Year to all! We are back with another recipe for you, this time we are going to show you how to make a delicious Miso Soup. Miso Soup can be enjoyed as a stand alone meal/snack or can accompany your meal.

Spoonful of Miso Paste *1
Depending on how hot you like your soup will depend on the amount of Miso Paste!

Wakame seaweed (quarter to half a cup)
*1 depending on how hot you want your Miso Soup will depend on the type you choose. Red is the most hot, White is mild and has a sweeter taste and for the original flavour that is still enjoyable for all go for our Original option.
*2 depending on your dietary requirements and personal taste, the toppings for Miso Soup are interchangeable.

Instructions

Add your Dashi Soup Stock to a pan. Place the pan on your stove and leave it to heat up on a medium heat. If needs be you can add salt and pepper to your stock, however this is optional.
Let your pan sit for around 5 minutes.

Get your Wakame seaweed and let it boil in a pan full of water for around 15 minutes on a medium heat. Once this step is over take the pan off the hob and drain your Wakame. Put it to one side.

It is now time to prepare your toppings. Whether you have chosen meat, tofu or vegetables, prep these accordingly and add any necessary seasonings to gain your preferred taste!

Grab half of your Dashi Soup Stock you have prepared in step 1 and mix this with your spoonful of chosen Miso Paste in a pan on a medium - high heat until at a boiling point.

Get your toppings and add these to your bulk Dashi Soup Stock and then add the rest of the Miso Paste from the previous step. For more flavour be sure to let your toppings sit in the Soup Stock for a more atmospheric flavor.
